Resize & Convert Image online
Resize JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF with social and A4 presets or custom pixels, then export as JPG, PNG, or WebP in your browser.
Resize once and export in the format you need
Resize & Convert Image changes pixel dimensions and output format in one browser-based step. Start from JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF; choose a social or A4 preset, or enter custom dimensions; then export as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Presets fit the full image inside their bounds without stretching or cropping it.
- Use ready-made social, video thumbnail, and A4 pixel presets
- Enter custom width and optional height with aspect-ratio control
- Choose JPG, PNG, or WebP output and quality where supported
How to use this tool
Choose one source image
Upload a JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF image up to 20 MB. The original dimensions appear in the workspace.
Set size and format
Pick a preset or custom pixels, keep proportions when needed, and select JPG, PNG, or WebP output.
Preview the final dimensions
Check the calculated width and height before processing, then download the resized image from your browser.
One tool for several image handoffs
Social and video assets
Fit a source image within presets for Instagram posts and stories, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, or YouTube thumbnails.
Forms and CMS uploads
Meet a pixel limit or output requirement without opening a full image editor just to change width and format.
HEIC compatibility
Open an iPhone HEIC or HEIF photo and export a resized JPG, PNG, or WebP version for systems that do not accept Apple formats.
A4 image preparation
Use the portrait or landscape A4 bounds at 300-DPI pixel dimensions while keeping the whole image visible.
Presets fit; they do not crop
When a preset is selected, LeafDeck scales the image proportionally until both dimensions fit within the preset box. A landscape photo placed in a square preset can therefore finish at the preset width with a shorter height. No content is cut away and the image is not stretched to force an exact aspect ratio.
For custom dimensions, keep “Keep aspect ratio” enabled to avoid distortion. If both width and height are supplied, the image fits inside those limits. Turn the option off only when an exact width and height matter more than preserving the original proportions.
Choose the output format deliberately
JPG is usually a practical choice for photographs and broad compatibility. WebP is useful for lighter web assets. PNG is lossless and can preserve transparency, but it may produce a larger file. Transparent areas become white when exporting to JPG because JPG has no transparency channel.
Increasing pixel dimensions cannot recreate missing detail. Upscaling a small source may meet a dimension requirement but can still look soft, so start with the largest clean original available.
Image resizing and conversion questions
Will a preset crop my image to an exact social ratio?
No. Presets fit the complete image inside the target bounds while preserving its aspect ratio. Use a dedicated crop tool when you need an exact filled frame.
Can I enter only a target width?
Yes. In Custom mode, enter the width and leave height empty. LeafDeck calculates the height from the original proportions.
What happens to transparency when I choose JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP when transparency must be retained.
Can I resize an HEIC or HEIF photo and convert it at the same time?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF are accepted as source formats, and the result can be exported as JPG, PNG, or WebP.
Does changing quality affect PNG output?
No quality slider is shown for PNG because PNG output is lossless. The quality control applies to JPG and WebP.
Is this image sent to the LeafDeck server?
No. Resize and format conversion are performed in your browser.
